About Mark N. Foster
Mark N. Foster grew up in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he received a B.A. in Economics, Political Science and Legal Studies, and a Juris Doctor (law) degree, all Magna Cum Laude (with high honors).
Mr. Foster was licensed as an attorney in 2004 and practiced in the field of business litigation from 2004 to 2007 in a fifteen-lawyer firm in Knoxville, Tennessee. In 2007, he started the Law Office of Mark N. Foster in Rockwood, Roane County, Tennessee.
Mr. Foster is admitted to practice in all of the courts of the State of Tennessee, as well as in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Foster has a general practice of law, including all types of litigation.
Mr. Foster is active in professional associations, including having served as Secretary and Treasurer of the Roane County Bar Association and as District 4 Representative (Bledsoe, Blount, Bradley, Loudon, McMinn, Meigs, Monroe, Morgan, Polk, Rhea and Roane Counties) of the Young Lawyers Division of the Tennessee Bar Association.
In addition to professional activities, Mr. Foster is a member of
First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Rockwood, Tennessee, where his wife Kara is the Pastor.
